All of these questions could easily be answered with a proper analysis of the database information.
What I would recommend is the following:
- Develop a new and extensible database
- The database should be located in a centralized and secured location
- The database should be accessed by anyone signing up or changing the customer database from any computer
- Access levels need to be established to allow the updating of customer information
- Customers should be able to view their information, perhaps even update their own information, this is based on the long term and overall needs of the business
